Founded in 1959 as Dr B. L. Kapur Memorial Hospital and rebuilt in 2009 as a 650-bed super-speciality hospital, BLK-Max is now part of the Max Healthcare network. It is best known for its bone marrow transplant centre (more than 1,000 transplants), as well as cancer care, including paediatric oncology, and liver transplants.
